Start with Web Development.With app development, you might get stuck pretty quick on making a backend for your app. If you start with web development, you'll get to know things like how to make an API, using different database technologies, making a server... all things that are helpful for app development.Once you start making web apps, making the transition to mobile apps is much easier.
You can be both.android developement requires more time and skills than web developement,it is very specific generally requires more focus and for money i think web developement pays you more as you can complete a website in less days compare to app developement.
No you don't,programming is bascically like a open book exam.Everyday new features,technologies,functions releases so it is practically not possible to memorize everything,you need to understand the basic syntax,and the rest you can know by reading doucmentation on google.
If you want a safe career then choose Artificial intelligence or data science.But if you do software engineering then it will be a huge career as well but not more than AI and data science.
